UPDATE: ‘Golden Girls’ Home Sold for $4M After 9-Person Bidding War

Back in July, the home used for the external shots in Golden Girls was placed on the market for $3M. The house has now sold.

The four bedroom, 2,901-square-foot house was originally listed for $2,999,000, but eventually ended up selling for $4,000,620 after a bidding war.

The listing agent, Rachelle Rosten, told Wall Street Journal she was overwhelmed by the response, and even received 20 offers in the first 14 days. In the end, 9 bidders had it out until the very end.

A spokesperson for Walt Disney Studios said the house was only filmed in the first season, before being replicated at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Fans will always associate the home with the show.
