Unaccompanied Veteran to be Laid to Rest Today

Calling all Veterans... we need you today!!!

We received word this morning from some listeners that there's an unaccompanied veteran being laid to rest this morning at the Rock Island National Cemetery.

Richard Green, passed away in the Iowa City VA Health Care System Medical Center, will be interred at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29. The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs invites anyone who would like to attend to pay respects to this fallen veteran.
