Truck Eating Bridge Awakens From Winter Hibernation
After a long winter hibernation, Davenport's Truck Eating Bridge has woken up and was ready for a snack this morning.
Now, the bridge at 5th and Harrison is only 11' 8" tall, so the city put up a lot of nice flashing bright lights to let truck drivers know that there isn't a chance they're going to fit through. That doesn't stop truck drivers from trying anyway.
If you see a truck get eaten by the bridge, send us an email to let us know at Dorks@2dorks.com.
How long before they make a truck route that completely bypasses that area? And how do you decide your truck's height?

Here's our highlights.
