Truck Drove Through Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Weight Room
Early Friday morning, a truck crashed into the Palmer College of Chiropractic's campus. The R. Richard Bittner Athletic & Recreation Center was damaged.
According to KWQC, the crash occurred early this morning, with the tow truck arriving on scene around 3:45am with a red pickup truck.
No reports as to injuries are available at this time.
There are no cross streets on the opposite side of the road, but following the path of damage, the truck obviously left Brady Street, went up over the curb and through the fence before crashing through the windows of the athletic center.
Around 6:30, Palmer's crews could be seen working inside of the space, working to clean up the mess.
The athletic center was just opened in 2017, with nearly $500,000 worth of fitness equipment installed.
