Trevor Bauer Pulled From ALCS Game 3 After Disgusting Finger Bleeds All Over
It's not a good sign when you have to go to the bullpen on the first inning when you're in the playoffs.
Self confessed nerd, Bauer admitted his own drone had sliced his finger.
“So I plugged it in like I’ve done thousands and thousands of times,” he said. “And for whatever reason it was sitting like this, I was plugging the battery in and my finger happened to be right here, and for whatever reason these three propellers didn’t spin like they were supposed to and this one spun up at max throttle.”
Who knew that stitches wouldn't hold up to a few pitches of a 95 mph fastball? Good for him for trying to get the job done anyway, but maybe leave anything potentially dangerous until after the playoff season.
