Tourist Grandpa Gets Tossed 8 Feet In The Air By A Bison
How tourists haven't learned that you don't need to be up close to a wild animal to get a photo, or even just look at it, is beyond most of the internet. The newest example of a tourist not using all their smarts has gone viral after the man was thrown nearly 8 feet in the air like a ragdoll by a bison.
Mike MacLeod, a professional photographer, told Cowboy State Daily he was trying to capture some dramatic footage of the bison having a fit, rubbing its head into the ground, when all of a sudden it changed its mind.

“I used to be a combat photographer in the Army,” he said. “I could see this thing coming.”
MacLeod said the bison kept running through the campground, while people yelled warnings to each other that it was coming through.
Then, where we see the video start, the older gentleman and his grandson appeared.
“They weren't even in that camping loop,” McLeod said. “They were walking along the road, quite a ways away from the bison, and it started running at them.”
MacLeod saw exactly what was about to happen, and was able to catch the whole thing on
“He was sitting in the dust, like bison do, with his head out towards the road,” MacLeod said. “When the bison started to get up, the grandfather's like, ‘OK, time to leave,’ and they moved off behind these trees.”
The bison saw a white truck, and charged it. The only problem was, the grandpa was behind the trees and became the target again.
He tried to keep the trees between him and the bison, but it caught him.
You can see the whole encounter was all caught on video.
