Toss’n For Tad Benefiting Arsenal Firefighter with Pancreatic Cancer

Rock Island Arsenal firefighter Tad Robinson was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Tad has been a firefighter at the Arsenal since March of 2001.

He's also an Army veteran and has always been very active in the community whether it be coaching softball, as a volunteer firefighter and as an on ice official for the QC Mallards and Storm.

Tad has started treatments in Iowa City which started with chemotherapy and then surgery.

The Rock Island Arsenal Professional Firefighters IAFF Local F292 is having a benefit this Sunday to show Tad and His family that they are not alone in this fight and to help provide some financial assistance to help lessen the burden for them.

Toss'n for Tad will be held at the Bass Street Landing in Moline this Sunday, September 29th with a 1pm check-in. There will be a bags tourney along with raffles, auctions, music, food, and drinks.
