March 9th is National Napping Day, and what better day than this for such a holiday? It's Monday, it's raining all day, it's the day after DST, and it's Monday.

If you're down to celebrate the day, here's some tips from the National Sleep Foundation.

  • Take a short nap of about 20-30 minutes. This'll make you more alert but it won't leave you groggy the rest of the day, or mess with you going to bed tonight.
  • Make sure you have a quiet, dark place with a comfortable temperature to take your nap.
  • Timing is the most important, if you take your nap too late in the day, it'll mess with your sleep tonight, but if you try to sleep too early in the day, your body won't be ready for more sleep.

Take a nap today, you've earned it.
