Wednesday afternoon, we received reports of a situation at the KWQC studios on Brady Street in Davenport. Firetrucks were seen responding to an alarm, which turned out to just be an overactive system not liking some cooking that was happening.

Our friend, Tiphanie Cannon from Oh So Sweet By Tiphanie! was on the air at the time, showing Paula Sands some tips for stiff icing, and talked their new location with their new menu.

While we were talking with Tiphanie, Paula Sands called in to defend her from Dwyer's allegations:

As they were going to the commercial break, the fire alarm went off in the TV-6 Studios. Firefighters responded, but it turned out it was just a false alarm from some fajitas that were being made in preparation for the next segment.

The Firefighters hung around for a photo op with the day's guests, and then moved along to their next call.

Check out the clip below. The fire wasn't bad, it was just the typical flare-up for some good fajitas, and a new studio's low ceiling brought the sensors lower.
