These Mississippi Towns Are The Richest In The State
Mississippi definitely has a reputation for being a hard-working, blue collar state. Just a big group of hard-working, no B.S. folks who go about their business and try to carve out a life for themselves and their families. This is certainly true for a good chunk of the state, but there are certain places where the people appreciate the finer things.
Homesnacks, a website that compiles data from around the globe, used statistics from the US Census coupled with other stats coming from sources like the Zillow to put together a list of the top 10 richest places in The Magnolia State.
To rank these cities and towns, we’ll take a look at the median income, population, and median home value. To make it onto this list you only need a median income of about 60k, which will get you a lot further in Mississippi than it will in states like New York or California. If you’ve got a job that lets you work remote, you can live like royalty in some of these southern towns instead of that 1-bedroom apartment in Manhattan.

Biloxi’s rich neighbor, the same coastal perks and a little bit quieter.
