Cordova Dragway is a heritage drag racing strip just north of the Quad Cities, and they're once again hosting the 2022 O'Reilly Auto Parts World Series of Drag Racing - a weekend of high-speed, adrenaline-pumping drag racing. We have everything you need to know, and your opportunity at getting in on the free.

Starting the weekend, Friday, August 26th, the World Series 'Night of Thrills' will be one of the best nights of racing in modern times. The Chicago Wise Guys Pro-Mods will make their World Series debut with two qualifying sessions. Nitro Funny Cars of John Lawson, Pete Dove, the ‘American Way’ of Scott Haas, and ‘Buzzy’s Nitro Bomber’ driven by Mark McElwee will all be on the track.

Friday's headliner is a special match race between IHRA World Champion Bruce Litton with his Top Fuel dragster, and Summer Nationals Funny Car Champion Marc White who's driving Drastic Plastic.

Of course, the crowd favorite jet-propelled funny cars and dragsters will be present.

Then, Saturday the 27th kicks off the "Granddaddy of them all" Pro-Finale, which rumor has it, will be the best World Series show in a decade.

Nitro Top Fuel Dragsters and NHRA Funny Cars will face off in multiple events between multiple drivers.
