The 10 Best Baseball Cities in America

According to a new study, New York is the best city in America to be a baseball fan. The Yankees didn't make the World Series this year, and somehow they're still on top.

The second-to-last-place Mets probably had a hand in it too. Sure they did.

Researchers looked at a bunch of different factors, like win-loss records, ticket prices, how close each stadium is to the city center, and how engaged the fans are.

A few cities in Iowa made the list. Iowa City is ranked 47th, Davenport took 53rd with Cedar Rapids right behind at 54th. Burlington and Clinton are lower on the list at 163rd and 169th respectively.

The top 10 cities are as follows:

3. Los Angeles
4. San Francisco
5. Arlington, Texas
6. Boston
7. Atlanta
8. Cincinnati
9. Chicago
10. Pittsburgh
