Where Rock 'n' Roll Meets Fine Dining

Located at 500 11th Ave N, The Detroit Cowboy fuses Motor City roots with Nashville flair. A collaboration between Detroit’s iconic Joe Muer Seafood and Kid Rock himself, the restaurant promises an experience that’s part supper club, part rock concert. With personal memorabilia from Kid Rock and music legends like Dolly Parton, Eminem, and Johnny Cash, the atmosphere is anything but ordinary.

"This isn’t just a restaurant," Kid Rock said. "It’s where fine dining meets freedom, with zero apologies. Whether you're in jeans or a tux, you're welcome at my table."

VIP Vibes: Welcome to The Eagles Nest

One of the standout features of The Detroit Cowboy is “The Eagles Nest,” an exclusive, private dining room built for those who want a more intimate, rock-star-level experience. With its own entrance, private bathroom, and over-the-top decor, the space blends Southern charm with Kid Rock’s signature edge. Think leather, taxidermy, fine linens, and bone-in steaks big enough to feed a band.

What’s on the Menu?

Guests can enjoy prime steaks, fresh seafood, and craft cocktails, all curated by Chef Marino Bianchi and Napa Valley sommelier Scott Herrmann. Highlights include a 32 oz Tomahawk Ribeye, Veal Parmigiano, and an epic Surf & Turf combo with Black Angus filet and Tristan lobster tail.

Classic white-jacketed servers add a touch of old-school glam, while the music keeps things lively with a soundtrack featuring Aretha Franklin, Bob Seger, and more.

A New Chapter for a Culinary Classic

Originally founded in 1929, Joe Muer Seafood became a Detroit staple. Joe Vicari revived the brand in 2011 and expanded into Nashville in 2023. The Detroit Cowboy, opening in 2025, is the brand’s boldest chapter yet.

“We pride ourselves on quality, consistency, and hospitality,” said Vicari. “With Kid Rock onboard, we’re adding flair to that tradition.”
