Teen Fugitive Jumps Off Plane, Leads Police On Chase At Airport

Authorities in Oklahoma have released the security of the chase that ensued when a 16 year old with an outstanding felony warrant jumped off a plane and ran through the airport.

The teen was on an incoming flight from Houston, and put two and two together that police were waiting for him outside the plane. Surveillance video showed he slipped between the plane and the jet bridge and took off across the airport.

He ran across the tarmac, with police, airline, and airport officials chasing him. The video shows him drop 22 feet from from a building while trying to escape. Police said he broke his ankle on the fall.

Police said the office that was supposed to arrest him was waiting in his car outside, where the TSA told him to stay put.
