Florida Man Arrested Outside Taco Bell With No Pants, Fish Named “Baja Blast”
Florida just keeps giving us headlines that sound like they're satire of Florida headlines, but nope, they're real.
A Florida man is behind bars after police pulled up to a Taco Bell where he was outside with his pants around his ankles.
Just before 1am on Wednesday, employees at the State Road 100 Taco Bell in Palm Coast called the police to report a guy acting strange and suspicious outside the restaurant's side door.
When deputies arrived, they found 28-year-old Brandon Irizarry was still outside the business with his pants dropped around his ankles, or as the Flagler County Sheriff's Office put it, he had his "chimichanga out."
As officers pulled up, Irizarry quickly worked on covering himself up.
After his arrest, deputies said they opened his backpack to find a live beta fish in a plastic container inside.
The fish, who was named "Baja Blast," was turned over to the Flagler County Humane Society, where staff says he's doing well.
“We have many questions. We do not have answers,” the agency said, noting the fish appears healthy.
“In Flagler County, if you can’t keep your business in order, you may find yourself at the Green Roof Inn," Sheriff Rick Staly said, in reference to the county jail.
Irizarry was booked for a count of indecent exposure and transported to Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility on a $5,000 bond.
