THIS IS NOT A DRILL. THIS IS NOT AN APRIL FOOL'S JOKE.

The constant pestering from us REAL Taco Bell fans has finally paid off. There's been petitions, protests, and downright begging the company to bring back the menu favorite.

Even if we didn't get it all the time, we were all still disappointed when the pizza disappeared from the menu.

The Mexican Pizza is a near-perfect delicacy, unlike any other Mexican restaurant's offerings. It's a tortilla shell, beans and ground beef, tortilla shell, sauce, cheese, and tomatoes - in that order.

Mexican Pizza first hit menus in 1985, when it was called the Pizzazz Pizza.

If you aren't a religious Taco Bell customer, you better keep your ass out of the drive-thru on May 19th when this bad boy is back, because you might lose life or limb if you get in front of the wrong people.

The pizzas will run you around $4.50 and if you're a part of the loyalty program the restaurant has, you can get them on May 17th, and enjoy the fruits of your hard work on the lines of the petition and protests two days before the general population.

Oh, and something about Taco Bell got better about how they packaged the pizzas or something. They were using 7 million pounds of paperboard just on the pizza boxes, so apparently, that's reason to get rid of your favorite menu item.

See you in the drive-thru.

Remember this as the day we taste victory.
