Starbucks Fall Menu Drops TODAY! And There’s A Banana Surprise
Starbucks' fall menu drops today, August 25, which means Pumpkin Spice Season is officially here, and there are plenty of new drinks, returning favorites and cozy treats to get excited about.
The star of the show is, of course, the iconic Pumpkin Spice Latte, which is making its annual return. But Starbucks did not stop there. This year's fall lineup is packed with pumpkin, pecan, banana bread flavors, and even a brand-new drink that sounds perfect for a crisp fall afternoon.
Pumpkin Spice Is Back in a Big Way
Starbucks is adding several new pumpkin-inspired drinks to the menu.
The Iced Pumpkin Cream Shaken Espresso, Pumpkin Spice Chai and Iced Pumpkin Cream Matcha are all joining the fall lineup. The Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai and Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino are all returning, too.
Pecan Is Back, Too
If pumpkin isn't your thing, Starbucks has another fall flavor waiting for you.
Pecan is returning with a lineup featuring nutty flavors, brown-buttery notes and warm baking spices. Starting today, you can order the Pecan Cortado, Iced Pecan Crunch Latte or Pecan Crunch Latte.
Banana Bread Has Entered the Coffee Chat
Starbucks is introducing two new drinks inspired by that warm, freshly baked banana bread flavor: the Iced Banana Bread Latte and Iced Banana Bread Chai. Both combine banana, cinnamon and brown sugar flavors for a sweet, bakery-inspired drink.
And there's good news if you fall in love with them: these two drinks will be available beyond the fall season.
Say Hello to the New Chaider
Starbucks is also introducing something completely new this season: Chaider.
It is a cozy twist on chai that brings together cider-inspired flavors, cinnamon, and sweet spices. It sounds like the kind of drink you order when the weather finally gets chilly, and you want something warm and comforting in your hands.
This may be the sleeper hit of the fall menu.
And Yes, There Is Fall Food
The new Chicken Bacon Protein Pocket features toasted whole wheat lavash filled with chicken, bacon and creamy garlic herb cheese spread, with 20 grams of protein.
There is also a new Hedgehog Cake Pop, made with vanilla cake and buttercream, dipped in chocolatey icing and finished with chocolate sprinkles. It is almost too cute to eat. Almost.
And, of course, the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin is back. The spiced pumpkin muffin is filled with sweet cream cheese and topped with chopped, spiced pepitas.
So yes, summer had a good run. But today, we're officially entering our pumpkin spice, cozy coffee and fall snack era. Starbucks' fall menu is here, and I am absolutely ready for it.
