Spike in Nirvana Plays Today

Today would be the 48th Birthday for Kurt Cobain.  Usually every year on this day, and on the date of his death (April 5th) you hear Radio stations and Music channels unleash their Nirvana libraries in tribute.  Maybe you'll even spend some time with your own collection.

Kurt was definitely a complicated, talented, angry, messed-up dude...but he made a huge mark on the world, you can't deny that.  I can't get over the fact that his hometown of Aberdeen, Washington created a statue in his honor, but he had many times in his life spoken of how he disliked the town.  Contradictions just seem to define his life AND his death.   But today in spite of my general feelings about suicide, I MUST salute you Nirvana/Kurt Cobain fans.  It would be wrong not to.
