A small plane crash-landed onto a Minnesota interstate Wednesday night, where it came to a stop after hitting a vehicle. No injuries were reported, according to officials.

The Minnesota State Patrol said the single-engine Bellanca Viking plane made a "suspected emergency landing" onto Interstate 35 just before 9:30pm.

Officials publicly identified Craig Gifford, 52, of Minneapolis as the plane's pilot did not release details on whether there were others on board.

The reason for the landing is also unknown at this time. Officials say the interstate will remain closed until they finish their investigation.
