Speed Cameras
The photo speed enforcement van is back out on the roads in Davenport. Luckily enough, we know where they'll be this week:
- Monday: 6700 Division St – 2600 E River Drive – 3100 Harrison St.
- Tuesday: 2800 Jersey Ridge Rd – 3300 W Locust St – 5700 Northwest Blvd.
- Wednesday: 5500 Pine St – 3100 Harrison St. – 1500 E Locust St

Downing Family Fundraiser
Brooks, the 2-year-old son of a Davenport Fire Fighter, was first diagnosed with cancer this past spring. Despite surgery and treatment, the cancer has since spread throughout his brain and spine.
Sadly, there is no cure. As his parents prepare for the unthinkable, they are also burdened with mounting medical
expenses.
There's a special event to raise funding to cover all the medical bills so they can focus on what really matters at this time.
It's a special golf outing at Iron Tee on October 25th from 11am to 3pm. 25% of proceeds from the event go to the Downings.
There's a longest drive contest, silent auctions, raffles, and closest to the pin competition. If you can't make the 25th, they're continuing the 25% deal from October 26th-November 9th, if you mention Downing Fundraiser.

Storm Opener This Weekend
The Quad City Storm open their season this weekend against the peoria rivermen. Shayne Toporowski and Davis Kirkendall are scheduled to be in the studio at 7:30am.
Davis Kirkendall was in as well, where we revisited one of his biggest highlights with the Storm - a one punch knockout.
Turns out, Leitner and Kirkendall were roommates in juniors and decided it'd be fun - but in the one punch Kirkendall actually broke Leitner's nose AND leg. Megan shoots TikToks for the team, and Davis said he had trouble trusting her after the "How Do You Like Your Steak" incident where he thought she asked "How do you like your stick" and he answered, "Grippy!"
Baldwin Footage
The dashcam footage from the Alec Baldwin vs. Tree incident has been released, showing the events that led up to Baldwin swerving around the truck and into a tree. Watching the footage, the phrasing of "cut off by the garbage truck" seems a little... well, just watch it yourself.
