Speed Cameras
The photo speed enforcement van is back out on the roads in Davenport. Luckily enough, we know where they'll be this week:
- Monday: 5700 Division St – 1100 Marquette St – 2600 E River Dr.
- Tuesday: 900 W Central Park Ave. – 1500 E Locust St. – 5800 Eastern Ave.
- Wednesday: 1000 W 53rd St. – 4100 Division St. – 3100 Harrison St

Downing Family Fundraiser
Brooks, the 2-year-old son of a Davenport Fire Fighter, was first diagnosed with cancer this past spring. Despite surgery and treatment, the cancer has since spread throughout his brain and spine.
Sadly, there is no cure. As his parents prepare for the unthinkable, they are also burdened with mounting medical
expenses.
There's a special event to raise funding to cover all the medical bills so they can focus on what really matters at this time.
It's a special golf outing at Iron Tee on October 25th from 11am to 3pm. 25% of proceeds from the event go to the Downings.
There's a longest drive contest, silent auctions, raffles, and closest to the pin competition. If you can't make the 25th, they're continuing the 25% deal from October 26th-November 9th, if you mention Downing Fundraiser.

Jerry Jones Fined
Jerry Jones got fined $250,000 for flipping off some Jets fans in his own stadium.

Chad Powers
Have you seen the new show on Hulu? It's got Glen Powell playing a football player named Russ Holliday who screwed up in the National Championship, losing his chance at ever becoming an NFL player. 10 years later while working for his dad's movie prosthetic makeup company, he hears of a college having walk-on tryouts. He shows up as "Chad Powers" with a bunch of prosthetics on his face, and makes the team.
The idea comes from when Eli Manning went undercover and tried out for a college team from a few years ago. The Mannings are producers of the new show, and Eli's already made a cameo as the coach for Ole Miss.
New AI Is Scary
There was a new update last week of a popular AI video program, and they had to lock it down right away to prevent videos of celebrities and copyright material because it was cranking out insanely realistic looking videos of dead people and making full length episodes of Spongebob.

An Alligator Walks Into A Bar
An alligator walked into a bar in Florida. the bar called the cops, and they just came and nabbed the 5-foot gator before happy hour was over and moved it "down river".
