Speed Cameras
The photo speed enforcement van is back out on the roads in Davenport. Luckily enough, we know where they'll be this week:
- Monday: 5700 Division St – 1100 Marquette St – 2600 E River Dr.
- Tuesday: 900 W Central Park Ave. – 1500 E Locust St. – 5800 Eastern Ave.
- Wednesday: 1000 W 53rd St. – 4100 Division St. – 3100 Harrison St

Downing Family Fundraiser
Brooks, the 2-year-old son of a Davenport Fire Fighter, was first diagnosed with cancer this past spring. Despite surgery and treatment, the cancer has since spread throughout his brain and spine.
Sadly, there is no cure. As his parents prepare for the unthinkable, they are also burdened with mounting medical
expenses.
There's a special event to raise funding to cover all the medical bills so they can focus on what really matters at this time.
It's a special golf outing at Iron Tee on October 25th from 11am to 3pm. 25% of proceeds from the event go to the Downings.
There's a longest drive contest, silent auctions, raffles, and closest to the pin competition. If you can't make the 25th, they're continuing the 25% deal from October 26th-November 9th, if you mention Downing Fundraiser.

Cubs
Today we gave away tickets to the Cubs vs Brewers game tomorrow night at Wrigley, and it's do-or-die for the Cubs.
Our friend Austin shared a clip in the comments that we forgot existed - Dwyer on the news, at Wrigley Field after the Cubs were eliminated from the playoffs 9 years ago.
Movie Night App
Hairball and his fiancé have solved the endless scrolling of streaming services and found this new app to pick what they're watching.
It's called "Movie Night" and you swipe just like a dating app on movie posters. If you want to know more about it, you click and it will tell you what the movie is about.
It's free! There's a new trend in apps where they make it look like you have to pay, but if you (carefully) poke around, it'll let you get through that page to the free part. I can't remember if I scrolled or x'd something, but that page never comes up again.
