Speed Cameras
The photo speed enforcement van is back out on the roads in Davenport. Luckily enough, we know where they'll be this week:

DoorDasher Saves The Day
A DoorDasher driver alerted cops after delivering some suspicious items to a motel.
Some of the strange items included trash bags, zip ties, bleach, and a hatchet.
Police arrived and found a hostage was inside, which led to a standoff.
Slot Cars
Michaels found a cool new toy he might just have to have.
You remember being a kid and having the police chase slot car sets, where you had a "Chase Me" car and a cop car that would chase it around the track.
There's a new one: BLUES BROTHERS!

Big Heads
Dwyer had a sombrero on for his birthday yesterday, and he noticed that he's got a big head.
He had a few other examples too, like this bucket hat he wore for a disc golf event with Hairball.
And the fedoras they wore for this Blues Brothers-esque photo shoot.
Poop Spray
A teaching assistant at a high school got arrested after spraying poop spray in the school continuously, causing mulitple trips for HVAC work and inspections to figure out what was going on.
Bad Teachers
It's bad teachers day apparently, because there was also a teacher who got busted the day the police brought the drug sniffing dog in for a demonstration, and the dog found cocaine in the math teacher's purse, weed in her car, and weed "paraphernalia" in her car.
Battery Ejection
A Chinese company has invented a new ejectable vehicle battery, for if there's a fire issue with one of the EV batteries.
Using what looks like compressed air, it launches the battery away from the car.
