Aussie Pilot Dies

An Australian pilot has died, found in the wreckage of a sugarcane field in Brazil, after it crashed around 1:30pm on Sunday. Looking at his stops, he was flying along a known international drug trade route.

The plane he was in was registered in the African nation of Zambia, but has supposedly been hangared in Brazil for two years.

Oh, and it had 200 kilos of cocaine on board, labeled with the SpaceX logo.

Baconator Meal

A guy waiting in the drive-thru line at Popeyes started recording when a woman walked up (obviously disoriented) and asked for... a Baconator. That's Wendy's, but the guy kept her fired up so she could get her Baconator meal.

She was drunk, but said she was from California (she's in Florida), and just wanted a Baconator!

That girl is hammered lol

Seton Catholic Bus Trip

Dwyer was out to dinner and saw a group of 60 women (and a couple husbands) who were in town on a bus trip from St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Orland Park up by Chicago, and of course, he had to welcome them to LeClaire.

In their conversation, the topic of Mike Wolfe came up, and Dwyer told them about the car accident he was in the other night. The group stopped their whole dinner and conversation to pray for Mike and Leticia's recovery.

Delivery Robots

When we were in Austin, we saw some of those Uber Eats delivery robots that are basically a rolling cooler driving around, taking food to customers.

What we didn't know, was that they do NOT like to be overtaken by another wheelbound being.

A guy who has cerebral palsy and is in a mobility scooter shows what he has to deal with on his commutes. The robot is blocking like a racecar driver, and then at one point, cuts him off, brake checks him, then backs into him.

Caleb Williams And Tory Taylor

When Tory Taylor, the revered punter from down under who inspired a whole line of Hawkeyes merchandise, was drafted to the Bears, he got a message from QB Caleb Williams.

Since that April 2024 text messsage, he's punted NINETY TWO TIMES, the most in the NFL.

Megan Ruined Hairball's Day

First thing this morning, Michaels sent Megan to Donuts & More to get donuts, and when he called her IN THE DRIVE THRU to change his order, she said "Okay, got it" and then... didn't get his order.
