Hawkeye Art
Listener Dave called in and told us how the insurance policies work when you're licensed to do artwork for the University of Iowa.
It's a $2M policy, in case one of your art pieces injures someone, the University doesn't have to worry about being sued.
Dave made the Herktimus Prime for Herky on Parade, and he also does chainsaw art, drawings, murals, and more.
High School Mascots
We were talking about schools who have gotten cease and desist letters from colleges, and one we found was this school in Kansas who got slapped with one from Notre Dame about their use of the Fighting Irish logo.
They got the cease and desist after gettting national attention when a tornado ripped through the town.
So, they redid their logo and just became the Chapman Irish.
Tony Carducci Needs Guitars
Our friend Tony Carducci is once again putting together donated guitars to be gifts for people who need the gift of music.
This year, Tony has a need for not just the guitars, but the accessories as well. If you don't have a guitar to donate, maybe you have something else laying around, like:
- Small Amps
- Soft Cases
- Tuners
- Picks
- Straps
Joey Chestnut Poutine
Joey Chestnut ate poutine. So much poutine it weighed as much as 2-year-old. 26.5 pounds.
