Pool Mishap Puts Dancer In Hospital
A woman who Sun News says is a ring girl for a boxing group jumped off her bosses roof into the pool below while riding an inflatable dolphin on the way down.
The dolphin hit the water, her face hit the dolphin and "felt like concrete," busting up her face.
Praying Mantises, Manti, Mantisee?
Hairball hasn't seen a praying mantis in years, but saw two in the last twelve hours - one at home and one at the radio station. Is there some sort of superstition behind seeing them so close like that?
He's decided he's probably either getting rich or dying this week, but we need to call in the experts.
Is Michaels Going To See Caitlin Play?
Michaels big Father's Day gift Indiana Fever game is this weekend when they play against the Chicago Sky. The big question is, will he get to see Caitlin play?
The answer is: Nobody knows.
Here's Stephanie White talking about her not being in contact practices yet.
Tesla Crash
A 74-year-old woman and two others were injured when the woman hit the wrong pedal in her Tesla outside the dealership, sending her through the plate glass window at the front of the dealership.
Another Crash
There was another viral crash yesterday after a car punched a cartoon shaped hole in the wall in Germantown, MD.
Gene-Gene, The Flying Machine
We heard the sad news that Gene, the chief pilot behind the White Castle missions we ran about 20 years ago, has passsed away.
Gene called us up one morning while discussing sending Tattoo for White Castle in Joliet, and Gene called and said "If you can wait until tomorrow I'll fly out there for you." Over the years this turned into a fullblown mission with multiple planes flying in formation to bring the Quad Cities White Castle.
Vern
Vern, The Mayor Gaines Street, is getting better. He's back at Harmony for some rehab and will hopefully be headed home soon.
If you haven't yet, send him a card!
Megan's Potato
Megan threw a baked potato in the microwave and then forgot about it... for 3 weeks.
Last night, she found it after not cooking anything in the microwave that whole time.
The Mud Man
A credit card fraud alert at hot springs prompted police to show up and try to bust the guy in the mud bath. They told him he could shower first, but he took off instead, so cops had had to chase a guy in a speedo running through neighborhoods covered in mud.
