James Corden & Paul McCartney
James Corden did an episode with Paul McCartney where he got him to play at a pub, unbeknownst to the pub goers, until a curtain pulled back and it was Paul Freaking McCartney.
Hairball's Got A Gig This Weekend
Hairball's playing at Twinspan Brewing for their Lager Lager Lager beer tasting with his cousin, Ariel McReynolds, who is back from Nashville for this one special gig. It's a fundraiser for Uncommon Valor, the non-profit who is dedicated suicide prevention, through activity-based services, for our Veterans, their families, and our community.
It's a ticketed event, but it comes with all kinds of beer drinking.
Matt Stutzman
Matt Stutzman, the Armless Archer, stopped by to talk about his weekend plans, because he's racing over at Cordova for the World Series of Drag Racing.
He's best known for winning the Gold Medal at the Paris Paralympics (and his other archery accomplishments.
Matt is also a motivational speaker. You can see all of his accomplishments and see booking info at his website.
Tech Sergeant Paige Mitchell
We tracked down a letter from Paige about the Thunderbirds she wrote as a young kid.
Township Meeting Crashed
A township meeting in Cecil, Pennsylvania, was meeting on whether or not the city would be shutting down the local motocross track where they race dirtbikes, because of noise complaints about the bikes.
One motocrosser/resident in the area wanted to speak his piece, but didn't follow the format of "State your name" and all that, he just wanted to say "Either you hear them where they're supposed to be or where they're not supposed to be."
Only, a council member kept interrupting him to state his name and address. So, he started making motorcycle noises and "rode" off the podium and around the room back to his seat.
Beef Bandit
A guy got busted by the Livingston Parish Sherrif's Office for stealing a crapload of beef. He took multiple trips into a Walmart and shoved all the beef he could find down his pants and stole around $300 worth of beef.
Cops got him as he was trying to leave the state.
