"We would like to introduce you to the Quad City Back the Blue Flight, a newly formed local non-profit organization dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who serve and have served as law enforcement officers in our Quad Cities community. Our mission is to provide active and retired officers from the 19 police agencies across Scott and Rock Island Counties with the profound experience of an Honor Flight to Washington D.C. to visit the National Law Enforcement Memorial Wall and Museum."
"The mission of Quad City Back the Blue Flight is to support and Honor Law Enforcement Officers of the Quad Cities area, active and retired, by facilitating 1-day round-trip flights to Washington, DC. We will also include a family member from a local Officer killed in the line of duty. Some of the sites we will be visiting are the National Police Officers Memorial Wall and museum, honoring our local fallen Officers, The Capital, National Spy Museum, and other historical sites. We will also be educating the public on local Law Enforcement concerns, and a continued support for our Officers and future flights." -Qcblueflight.org

BEES BEES BEES!
Millions of bees escape after truck carrying hives in Texas crashes in chaotic scene.
Some two million bees escaped after an 18-wheeler carrying beehives crashed in Texas.
Photographs from the scene shared by Queen Bee Supply show beekeepers frantically trying to corral the vast swarms of bees loudly buzzing around the overturned truck in Mauriceville on Sunday.
