Seattle Man Accused of Throwing Batarang at Police SUV
Police in Seattle arrested a 23-year-old on Monday after the suspect threw “a sharp, Batman-style throwing star” at a police SUV.
While they did not release the name of the man, the Seattle Police Department did confirm that it was not Batman. Police were initially called to a bar after a man threatened an employee with an “improvised spear” that was a knife on a metal pole.
Officers chased the suspect who then threw a batarang at their SUV which became embedded in the front end of the vehicle. He's currently in King County Jail on a felony assault charge and may also face weapons and obstruction charges.
