Rockies and Padres Bench-Clearing Brawl Results in Five Ejections

There was a brawl between the Padres and the Rockies yesterday. Nolan Arenado was batting for the Rockies and got drilled by Padres pitcher Luis Perdomo.

It was in retaliation for the Rockies hitting two Padres batters earlier in the series. Arenado rushed the mound and the benches cleared. Five players were ejected after the brawl including Arenado and both starting pitchers.
