Robber Pulls Knife on Dunkin Donuts Employee, Employee Pulls Bigger Knife
A man's attempt to rob a Dunkin Donuts was thwarted by a courageous employee who wasn't going to have any of that.
The employee, who hasn't been named, was behind the counter of the donut shop when the suspect walked in at 10:30pm and asked for free coffee.
The worker refused to give it to him for free, which was when the suspect pulled out a knife, demanding everything in the cash register.
The employee told NY Post, "I turned, went into the kitchen, and got a bigger knife."
Meanwhile, the employee's younger sister who was also working at the time, called the police.
The suspect, wearing a pink sweater, saw the bigger knife and ran out of the shop. He then hopped into a Nissan Pathfinder and sped off.
He's described as 35 years old, 5-foot-6 and weighing about 180 pounds.
When asked if he felt like a hero, the clerk didn't think so.
“Me? No,” he said. “I’m no hero.”
