Alternating Currents will move the festival from Davenport's LeClaire Park to multiple venues in the city's downtown area. Ribfest is also seeing a change and will be joined with Street Fest.

An assortment of more than fifty musical performances, comedy acts and film screenings will be spread around a dozen indoor locations.

“We’re excited to bring a modern and popular festival model to downtown Davenport and the Quad Cities,” said Kyle Carter, Executive Director, Downtown Davenport Partnership. “From national artists at the Adler Theatre, to film screenings and up-and-coming comedians and bands, we’ll have a little something for everyone.”

The festival will take place the weekend of August 26th and 27th. A lineup has not been reveal as of yet, but River Roots Live has seen acts like the Black Crowes, Umphrey's McGee, O.A.R., America, Edgar Winter, and many others.
