Great Music For A Great Cause At Rescue Rocks This Weekend
Saturday, September 13th, will be one of the greatest showcases of Quad City musicians you'll see this year, and it's all for a great cause.
The Tangled Wood has booked four of the best bands in the QC to get together to raise money for King's Harvest Pet Rescue No Kill Shelter, an event they call Rescue Rocks.
Great Music, Great Cause
Roughly 6.5 million animals enter shelters each year but only 3.2 million are adopted. There are fewer and fewer no kill shelters out there and the Tangled Wood wants to help one of them out.
Rescue Rocks kicks off at 2pm on the backyard stage, silent auctions, food and drink specials, yard games and not to mention, there's going to be dogs EVERYWHERE! King's Harvest is bringing some of the dogs from their shelter to show who you're helping out, and maybe even showing you a little man or lady who could be your newest best friend.

The Lineup
The band lineup for this event is extensive and awesome. 4 bands cover the stage from 2-8pm.
Starting things off is Identity Crisis - a 10 piece classic rock band featuring a horn section - playing your favorite rock, pop, and more.
4pm: The Class of '82

6pm: Dirt Road Rockers

8pm: Funktastic 5
