Quad Cities Red, White & Boom Postponed Until Later Date

UPDATE: The fireworks display has been cancelled for July 4th. Eventually, it will be rescheduled for a later date.

Due to some unfavorable weather, the joint Independence Day celebration between Rock Island and Davenport has been postponed.

Weather permitting, the fireworks for Red, White & Boom celebration will be simply moved to Saturday, July 4th, instead.

In the event that weather is uncooperative tomorrow, the fireworks will be rescheduled again.

This isn't the first time fireworks have been postponed. In 2024, due to the Mississippi River flooding, the event had to be moved to September.

The City of Davenport will notify if any other postponements will be neccesary.
