Illinois Player Wins Billion-Dollar Powerball Jackpot
One lucky Illinoisan is going to have a completely different looking life now that the Powerball Jackpot was drawn Wednesday night.
It was bought at a Hy-Vee gas station in Quincy, according to lottery officials. The winner will be able to choose $1.040 billion annuity, or a $450.5 million lump-sum cash option (before taxes).

The past month's drawings have rolled over, and now someone's life is going to completely change.
The previous jackpot winner was on May 2nd, when tickets sold in Texas and Florida split the modest $20M prize. Since then, the jackpot has rolled over drawing after drawing, building into a life-changing windfall.
The Winning Numbers
The drawing took place Wednesday night, with the Powerball numbers being: 4-26-66-67-69 and the Powerball is 9. The "Power Play" multiplier is 2x.
It was the Hy-Vee Gas Station on 36th Street in Quincy that sold the big winner.
Another player in Massachusetts won a $2M prize after matching 5 plus the Power Play, and four other players hit 5 numbers for a $1M prize. Those tickets were sold in Arizona, California, Florida and North Carolina.
The Next Drawing
The next Powerball drawing will be on Saturday, August 15th, at around 11pm. Being the jackpot was won, it'll be resetting to a measly, barely worth playing $20M.
