Quad City Storm Hosting ‘Paint The Ice’ to Salute Military Veterans
The Quad City Storm is inviting fans out to the ice to help them salute their veteran friends and family.
On Monday, November 8th from 9am to 7pm, anyone who goes to the TaxSlayer Center can have the opportunity to go out on the ice and paint the names of their friends and family members who put it all on the line for our safety.
The names will be iced over to make them more permanent, and will remain on the ice for the duration of the November 12th and November 13th games.
For those painting, the event is free to participate in. Paint will be provided upon your arrival to the event.
The final product for this event is pretty awesome, as you may have seen last year during a similar event where participants painted the names of those who battled cancer.
