Quad City Storm Hosting Ball Drop To Benefit Boys and Girls Club
The Quad City Storm are ending 2021 with an awesome game against their rivals down the road, the Peoria Rivermen. So far, the Storm are 4-1 in the Cold War on 74, so it's sure to be an interesting game.

Every ball purchased for the drop will be placed in a giant bag. During the second intermission of the game, the bag will be raised up in the air over a target and the balls will be released.
The ball that lands closest to the center of the target wins the grand prize.
Online purchases can be made up to 11:59pm, December 16th, at the Boys & Girls Club of the Mississippi Valley website.
Balls will also be available for purchase at the game, for purchase up to the second intermission.
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Valley is a comprehensive youth development program celebrating 27 years in the Quad Cities in 2021. They have 4 locations-2 in Davenport and 2 in Moline. After-school and summer programs are open to youth ages 6-18. Programming includes Education and STEM, Health and Wellness, The Arts, Character & Leadership and Sports & Recreation. BGCMV currently serves over 700 youth and teens per year. Membership for the school year begins at only $15 for the entire year.
The game's doors are open 6pm, and the game begins at 7:10pm.
