Quad City Storm Set for Winter Classic and $1 Beer Night

The Quad City Storm are returning home to Vibrant Arena this Friday, December 26, for the highly anticipated Winter Classic Whiteout. Highlighting the post-holiday festivities, the team has announced the return of $1 beers for fans in attendance.

Winter Classic Whiteout Festivities

The December 26 matchup is a "Whiteout" event, where fans are encouraged to wear white to the arena. The Storm will take the ice in specialty whiteout jerseys, which will be available for a live auction immediately following the game. For those unable to attend the live auction, select jerseys will also be available through an online bidding process.

Momentum from Recent Victories

The Storm enters the home stand with significant momentum after a successful road trip, capped by a 4-2 win over the Macon Mayhem. Goaltender Luke Lush anchored the victory with 24 saves, while captain Tommy Tsicos led the offense.

“The win for the Storm was its fifth in the month of December and the team has now tallied points in six of its last seven games,” the team noted. This recent surge has kept the Storm in the eighth and final SPHL playoff position.

Upcoming Home Stand Schedule

Following the Winter Classic, the team hosts a weekend of events, including a "Meet Bluey" night on Saturday, December 27. The home stretch continues with a New Year’s Eve rivalry game against Peoria and a January 4 clash with Evansville.
