Quad City Storm: ’21-’22 Season Recap and Your Favorite Memories
Storm Fans, we've had a great year. So much love and support emitted from the stands and affected the whole arena in a motivating way.
To recap, the Storm started the season off strong holding the 2nd place ranking for a few months. We saw players go and we saw new players come in, but every player wanted to play their best.
The Storm ended the regular season in 5th place, 9 points behind the 4th place Fayetteville Marksmen and 15 points behind the 1st place team, the Knoxville Ice Bears.
Some of the players made it on the League Leaders list on the SPHL website for the President's Cup Playoffs.
The average Attendance for the 2022 season was 2,374, but this season saw the first sell-out game in the team's short history with a record 5,321 people in attendance on March 26th.
The Quad City Storm took to Twitter to thank every Storm fan:
We found a youtube video someone made recapping the Quad City Storm moments on the ice and the stands. YOU MIGHT BE IN THIS!

My favorite memory was during the kiss cam when I said "It's time for the fans to play hockey... with their tongues" and I heard confused people say "What? Did she just say tongue hockey?"
