Quad City Mallards Captain Knocks Out Opponent Before Face-Off

Quad City Mallards Captain Triston Grant showed a member of the Fort Wayne Komets what happens when you talk too much trash before the face-off on Sunday.

Grant can be seen exchanging words with Justin MacDonald on the ice just before the puck was put into play. I can only assume it the Komet hit a nerve because Grant shakes off his glove and drops his opponent with one solid hit.
