Quad City Fire Plays Chicago Fire in Benefit Hockey Game
The Quad City Fire Hockey Team is made up of 20+ Firefighters from local Career and Volunteer Fire Departments. Seven area departments are represented on the team.
With a partnership with the Quad City Mallards, Quad City Fire Hockey and Chicago Fire Hockey will be playing their 9th Annual Benefit game to raise funds for QC MS Open Swinging for a Cure. To date they have raised $27,000 for various causes.
Multiple sclerosis affects more than 2.3 million people worldwide. QC MS Open is committed to help those effected by MS by raising awareness and funds to support research and treatment efforts with the goal of ending MS forever.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or before the game through the QC Mallards office for $15. Each ticket will get you into the Fire hockey game at 1pm and the Mallards game at 7pm. The game will be held this Saturday, April 1st, at the iWireless Center.
In between games Bierstube will be offering food and drink specials.
