Puck Drops for a Cause

The puck drops at 12:00 PM for the Junior Varsity game, followed by the Varsity showdown at 2:30 PM, as both teams battle for the prestigious Heroes Cup. But this event is about more than just hockey—it’s about giving back to the brave first responders who dedicate their lives to keeping our communities safe.

Supporting Local Heroes

This year’s proceeds will be used to purchase new equipment and replace failing gear for volunteer first responders and firefighters in the Quad City and surrounding areas through the Scott County Fire Chiefs’ Association. The Blues will honor these local heroes by wearing custom reflective turnout jerseys, designed to pay tribute to the life-saving gear worn by volunteer firefighters and first responders. Two of these jerseys will be up for auction, along with additional fundraising efforts, including t-shirt sales, a bake sale, raffle items, and a silent auction featuring goods and services from local businesses.
