Now, I haven't been on a "date" in around 20 years other than with the gal who eventually became my wife.  But I'd say the Quad Cities has some "seductive" places.

I've had luck with a dinner at Biaggi's and Lunardi's.  Can't go wrong with a fancy dinner and drinks.  If they give you the fabric napkins, it always ups your chances.

But apparently "romantic" and "seductive" are two different things to some people.

In fact, a new study ranked the "most seductive" cities in the world by looking at things like how many strip clubs there are, how many people make money on OnlyFans, how many hotels rent by the hour, how many people are googling FETISHES, and how many porn stars are named after each city.

By that definition we missed the boat by losing The Traveler Motel.  I remember a particularly "seductive" morning show bit where we rented it out for a couple hours, put on some closed circuit entertainment on the TV and had people wrestle our intern, Mongo, for WWE tickets.

We've still got "So-Co" and "Daisy Dooks" so that' gives us a fighting chance.  But If we could've competed in 2003, we could've been a contender with The Body Shop, The Jolly Roger, Tuxedos, and the Chorus Line.

We didn't have OnlyFans, but we had TR Video!

The Bottle Club put together a Top 20 list of the most "seductive" places in the world. The top eleven are:

  • London
  • Las Vegas
  • New York
  • Madrid
  • Paris
  • Rome
  • Berlin
  • Toronto
  • Sydney
  • Los Angeles
  • Miami

Quad Cities Live Music Venues That Aren't Live Music Venues Anymore

Nostalgia Alert!.

We've compiled a quick list (by no means comprehensive) of venues in the Quad Cities that are no longer music venues but to us will ALWAYS hold a special place were we saw some great shows and made some incredible memories.

To many of us the live music scene wasn't just a concert here & there. It was an every weekend affair. And it didn't matter if it was a touring band or your buddy's band. We were going to be there with a beer in hand and scream along with guitars that were way too loud in a room that was improperly treated acoustically and make some bad decisions.
