Man Arrested After Punching Co-Worker Exactly 1 Minute After Clocking In
We've all got somebody at work that, even if for no real reason, just irks us. They might not have even done anything to us, but something about them, just really ticks you off to see them coming down the hall.
For 35-year-old McKinley Maurice Pace Jr. of Jeannette, Pennsylvania, it took mere moments after he clocked in that his work nemesis pissed him off.
Pace had just arrived at his restaurant job at DeNunzio's Restaurant, just east of Pittsburgh, where he clocked in for his shift. He started complaining loudly about different co-workers, and was especially worked up about one of them.
"I've had enough," Pace reportedly yelled. "I'm going to punch him in the face."
The other man responded, "I'm right here, you don't have to go upstairs."
So, Pace walked over and punched him in the face multiple times, and then approached the co-worker's wife and hit her in the face too. The general manager said he had been clocked in for a whopping one singular minute before he launched the attack.
Pace has been charged with aggravated assault by attempting to cause serious bodily injury or causing injury with extreme indifference, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and harassment by subjecting another person to physical contact.
