In a social media post on Monday, city officials from Bettendorf announced that a portion of Middle Road will be closed beginning Monday, July 19th.

According to the post, starting July 19th and last through mid-August, Middle Road will be under construction. Construction will take place between Crow Creek Road and 53rd Avenue.

While crews are working on that portion of Middle Road, officials say that all northbound traffic will be maintained with reduced speed. So if you're heading that way, make sure you drive slowly, drive with caution, and expect slower traffic in that area of Middle Road.

Motorists who are wanting to head southbound on that portion of Middle Road will be detoured west along 53rd Avenue to Devils Glen Road, then south along Devils Glen Road to Tanglefoot Lane, and east along Tanglefoot Lane which will ultimately lead you back to Middle road.

As all road construction is, the start date and duration of the project are dependent on weather. Again, the expected start date is Monday, July 19 with the construction to be finished by mid-August.

Ghost In Our Iowa Basement?

As a radio station, we have a lot of people here who have seen some scary stuff. Do you see any ghosts in these photos? I can't, but I also don't know what to look for.

This Isn't The First Face Caught On Camera Here!
In September of 2020 the band "Pit Lord" came to the building to shoot a music video. They shot it in the basement and for a split second in the recording, you can make out a face of what looks to be a woman. You can see that video here.

With a history of ghosts, it's safe to say the basement of our building is CREEPY!
