Porch Pirate Caught Red Handed Desperately Tries to Lie

Last month in Portland, Oregon, a Ring doorbell camera caught a porch pirate in the act, as he attempted to steal a homeowners package.

The video shows the man coming up the driveway, looking around the porch, knocking on the door to see if anyone is home.

After nobody comes to the door, he disappears across the street to check the next house before he comes back to pick up the packages.

When the owner of the house opened the door, the man started to ramble about how he was an auditor for UPS, checking out packages to make sure they were properly delivered. He stumbled over his words before running down the driveway to get away.
