Police Find Stash of Stolen Tequila Thanks to Social Media Advertising
If you have the balls to steal $25,000 worth of tequila, maybe don't do something stupid like incriminating yourself on Facebook.
Police in Laredo, Texas were able to arrest a man who stole more than a thousand bottles of Patrón tequila last month. They found Manuel Alejandro Martinez Fernandez after he began posting on several social media pages that he was selling a massive amount of booze.
Cops tracked him down at his home and found the cases of tequila, valued at $24,500, and a loaded .357 caliber revolver.
While charges for the tequila theft are pending, Fernandez was charged with being an illegal alien in possession of a firearm.
