
Police Find Meth Stored Deep In Man’s Belly Button
Police in Clearwater were called to a McDonald's to investigate a suspicious person, and they found Martin Skelly, a 380lb man in possession of a hypodermic needle containing methamphetamine. Officers asked Skelly if he had anything else on him, which he denied.
Skelly was charged with possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Upon arriving to the jail, Martin was asked again if he had any other drugs on his person, which he denied.
During the intake, Skelly went through a full and thorough body search, which brought a new discovery.
According to the affidavit, the deputy discovered a "small bag of a crystal powder substance wedged deep within the belly button cavity" containing 2.7 grams of meth.
