A driver suspected of a hit-and-run was found crashed on Highway 26 in Oregon on Friday afternoon with a jaw dropping blood-alcohol level.

Mandras Police reported a hit-and-run around 1pm near a large travel plaza.

The vehicle was reported to be traveling toward Warm Springs, where officers found the man and pulled him over. They observed that the driver seemed to be highly intoxicated before he took off, leading officers on a short pursuit.

The chase ended when the driver drove half a mile down the road and into a concrete barrier.

When officers checked the suspects blood-alcohol content level, he was found to have a .77 BAC, 9 times the legal limit.

Not only was he very intoxicated, but his license was also suspended.

Charges are pending for the driver, and he is under medical evaluation.
