Piscotty Takes Multiple Hits From Cubs While Rounding the Bases
MLB pitchers consistently throw baseballs over 90mph. I imagine getting hit by one in your elbow would hurt a whole hell of a lot. Now picture getting hit two more times in just a few minutes.
St. Louis Cardinals right fielder Stephen Piscotty cashed in all of his bad luck during the 5th inning against the Chicago Cubs.
It all started when Piscotty took a pitch from Jake Arrieta to his right elbow. The Cardinal then caught another throw in his left elbow while running to second base. Finally, to top the whole thing off, another throw nailed him in the head while sliding into home.
